Everyone is welcome at Raynes Park Residents LTC. We have a variety of membership options for adults ("Senior Members"), students, juniors, parent/guardian members, and one of the lowest subscription rates in the area. Our membership administration is all done online using ClubSpark.
August 2021: Please note applications for new adult memberships are currently paused. You can email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to our waiting list for the start of the next Club year in April 2022.
Club sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Saturday and Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings. Please see the Courts page for further information. Senior members may play at any time if the courts are free with the exception of when a match is being played, during coaching sessions and during weekend junior club sessions. An assessment of playing standard (a "Play In") needs to be made before a player can join this membership category. We keep this "Play In" very informal, and we do not expect a particularly high standard of play. Please do not be intimidated by the idea of a "Play In".
Included in Senior Membership
- Five organised sessions each week including free balls and floodlights.
- Online court booking.
- Entry into our annual Wimbledon draw - you just need to be registered with the LTA as a British Tennis Member (BTM).
- Eight competitive teams entered in the Surrey League (4 mens, 3 ladies and 1 mixed).
- Reduced rates for group or private lessons from our fantastic coaches.
- Guests - members are welcome to bring guest(s) for a small fee.
- Regular social events and fun tournaments.
- And much, much, more...
Junior (Under 18) and Mini-Tennis (Under 11) Members
Mini-tennis and junior members may use the courts outside of club and coaching sessions at any time, although priority is given to club matches and senior members in the booking system. Junior (but not mini-tennis) members only pre-book courts using ClubSpark for play before 6pm on weekdays and after 4pm on weekends.
Parents or guardians of junior/mini-tennis members may apply for a special category of membership which allows them to play tennis with their child on the club courts. This membership also allows them to attend social events and participate in General Meetings, including becoming a member of the committee, but does not allow them to use the courts except when accompanied by their child who is a junior or mini-tennis member.
Coaching for younger members is available on Saturday mornings, as well as Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4pm. The juniors are split into different groups depending on age and ability. For details of Junior Coaching Fees, please see the Coaching page.
