We are pleased to report that the coin box on court 2 has been repaired and the stuck Euro removed. We understand that €1 and £1 coins look very similar, especially in the dark, but this is the second time this winter that a box has been jammed by a euro coin and so we implore all members to check your coins carefully before inserting them!

Whilst we were paying the engineer's call out charge we also took the opportunity to adjust the settings so that each £1 inserted will now give you 20 minutes of light instead of 30. Rising energy costs remain in the headlines, and as a non-domestic property the Club is not protected by the OfGem price cap. Consequently it has been subject to the full effects of price rises and our unit rate of electricity has doubled.

Membership renewals for both Senior and Junior were sent out from ClubSpark this week. If you have not received one then please check your spam folder, and if you cannot see it, get in touch urgently. We have a waiting list for new adult members and we would hate to lose any members because of an administrative oversight or email being misclassified as spam!

Everyone on our waiting list will be sent an email in the next few weeks asking them to reconfirm their interest in joining and further details of how many places we expect to have available. Anyone wishing to join the waiting list is welcome to do so by emailing membership@rprltc.co.uk but unless a large number of people on the list withdraw, we do not expect to be able to offer places to everyone already on the list.

This is a very busy time of year for the Membership Secretary and so our apologies if it takes us longer than usual to respond to enquiries.
