This summer José and his team of fantastic coaches will be running two full weeks of Junior Tennis Camps, 26–30th July and 2nd–6th August. The sessions are:

  • 9-11am: 4-8 year olds (LTA Youth Blue & Red)
  • 11am-1pm: 8-9 year olds (LTA Youth Orange & Green)
  • 1–3pm: 11-18 year olds (LTA Youth Yellow)

You can book online for individual days or the entire week. Members and siblings discounts are available and will be applied at checkout.

Nine months after the competition began, having been interrupted by two lockdowns, our 2020 Club Singles Champions were crowned on Sunday evening. Louise Field retained the Ladies Title, beating Vicky Newell in straight sets. Former Men's champion, Arunan Raviendrakumar reclaimed the cup from last year's winner, Neville Attwood, in another closely fought match (6-2 7-5).

Congratulations to all the players for some great tennis and staying match fit through lockdown.

A quick reminder that there will be no Senior Club Sessions on Saturday 12th June due to the Junior Championships. All five courts have been booked for Social on Sunday 13th June in anticipation of greater than usual attendance.

Please note that due to the ongoing pandemic and prohibition on gatherings of more than 30 people, we ask that spectators for the Junior Championships be limited to family members of participants only.

We are very pleased to be running a new Tennis Xpress course for adults 6-7:30pm on Thursdays from 10th June. Open to members and non-members, Tennis Xpress is a beginner adult introductory coaching course for players who want to learn the basics of the sport. Designed as a nine-hour course over six weeks, Tennis Xpress is centred on the use of modified equipment such as slower bouncing green and orange balls to ensure that players quickly learn the game of tennis; being able to serve, rally and score by the end of the course. You can find more details and how to sign up here.
