Based on the information published by the Government today, we expect the Club to re-open for all activities on the morning of Wednesday 2nd December, at about 8:15am.

No doubt everyone will be keen to get back on court to make up for the last month. Once we re-open please remember that no play is permitted before 8am, and the floodlights turn off automatically at 9:30pm.

Regulations permitting, on the evening of Wednesday 2nd we plan to have a special 5-court Club Night, from 7pm to 9:30pm. All Senior Members, and any Junior Members comfortable playing on court with adults, are welcome for this "turn up and play" session. The Club will provide balls and floodlights.

New public health restrictions come into force in England at 00:01 on Thursday morning. Although exercise outdoors with one other person will be permitted, the current understanding of the LTA, as published on their website, is that all outdoor sports facilities including tennis clubs are required to close and thus it will not be possible to use the courts to play singles, or play with your own household.

Activities and organised sessions permitted under tier-2 COVID restrictions will go ahead as usual on Wednesday, after which the Club premises will be closed, and the gate locked.  All current competitions and tournaments are suspended, and participants will be contacted by Mike and Sarah when they can be safely resumed.

We look forward to welcoming everybody back to the club as soon as it is permitted.
